Interpersonal Wellness Services unveils the Well-being Intelligence Curriculum

Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc., a leading Canadian consulting, coaching, and training firm, has broken new ground with the launch of the world’s first Well-being Intelligence Curriculum. This innovative framework not only reshapes the traditional approach to workplace wellness but ensures that every employee, regardless of enrollment status or availability, has access to holistic well-being experiences.

The comprehensive curriculum introduces a multidimensional approach, encompassing nine distinct dimensions of well-being. Moreover, it equips individuals with 12 well-being competencies that seamlessly span the entire employee life cycle, ensuring that well-being is not just an isolated initiative but a continuous journey.

Founder and President of Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc., Joyce Odidison, expressed the philosophy behind this pioneering curriculum: “Workplace wellness has been traditionally constrained to specific activities. But with the Well-being Intelligence Curriculum, we’re offering an integrated approach. Wellness should be an omnipresent thread weaving through every stage of an employee’s journey in an organization.”

Highlighting the significance and need for this holistic view on well-being, a 2021 Manulife report revealed that health-related absences and presenteeism result in a loss of 16% of working hours, equivalent to 41.2 days per employee annually.

“To tackle the impending mental health crisis and to genuinely champion wellness at work, we have to go beyond the routine. Our curriculum’s nine dimensions and 12 competencies provide the depth and breadth required for a transformative well-being experience,” Odidison emphasized.

With the introduction of the Well-being Intelligence Curriculum, Interpersonal Wellness Services is poised to lead a monumental shift in the way institutions perceive and instill wellness, making it an integral, all-encompassing part of organizational culture.
